Some of the wolves of Raven's Watch had started showing crepuscular behaviors, moving in the faint rays of light that served as a bridge for nightfall and the new days; but Bane himself had always been a nocturne wolf by instinct. The moonlight had always been his one true company, unwavering unlike those who he had always had the misfortune to surround himself with. It was under the full moon that Bane's grasp on reality was stronger, a lifeline from which his consciousness, above that of the others, got most stability.

It was also under the full moon that Bane's soul felt most restless. Drawn by the night light, the arctic wraith abandoned his post at the Watch to find a trail, a sign, something that would tell him where to look next for an adventure. Across the Wall Bane found himself yet again at the borders of the titan forest, guarded by bark sentinels that stretched to the skies above, and he was unable to resist the pull. He delved into it's depths, picking up quirky scents here and there, discovering the crypts of those who'd gone elsewhere. The cold gathered around him, lifting a thick mist across the forest like a carpet, threatening to suffocate the faint of heart... But Bane couldn't feel more like home.

The Ravensblood Forest was welcoming a new era.
