All Welcome
for whenever you have time chan, there's no rush!

Mato knows this must be done, knows that this conversation must take place despite how it fills him with both a sense of excitement, anticipation and sorrow. Northstar Vale had been good to him but the druid is filled with the sense that all of his choices thus far have led him to this: the cusp of Tindómë as it begins to come to fruition and the parting of ways from those that had made it possible, that had given him the confidence to go forth. Without Cypress and his brothers Mato very much doubts he would have ever struck out and left the Fen and if he hadn’t he might have met his untimely end by poison or else been left to live out the rest of his life in the Caldera: a mere homebody. He is grateful but also ready to do his own thing. He only hopes that his departure can be on good terms. He respects Rannoch and the Vale and he would hate to see something good be severed between them.

The empyrean cannot be sure how things will be taken, how the Alpha of the Vale will react though and so he tries not to imagine the different scenarios as they flash to him: he will take this as it comes. Mato approaches the familiar borders but does not cross freely into them, feeling that it is no longer a right he bears. With a slight steel of his shoulders he tips his head back and lets out a low call for @Rannoch, hoping to summon the leader to the borders where they can speak.
