All Welcome
Weather: 28°F, light snow.

Harsh winds and heavy snow had caused Dune to retreat back into the thick forest. He had been hunkered down for the past several hours, but there was a slight break in the storm, and his stomach rumbled with hunger. He needed food. He had a feeling the snow was not going to let up for long, so he made a break for it, snow falling off him when he stood up. Dune's teeth chattered, and his legs quivered, but he knew he had to move if he was going to make it through this intense bout of cold and snow.

What little willpower he had was sapped almost immediately, but determination and hunger kept him going as he searched for signs of food: dead or alive.

Bc I need a thread with you haha - also a bit of a crap post, apologies :')

After his encounter with the stocky wolverine, Maheegan had returned to his lonesome ways and wandered the Wilderness freely as he always had. The small man drew his paws through the snow, stomach aching slightly with a burning hunger, yet he found that prey was often scarce and his need to hunt grew larger with each day that passed. The storm of snow had halted for now and so he moved again, large figure padding across the land with only one intent - food

A pack would be what he sought out eventually, but for now he could not afford to travel much further without a meal. He supposed it was his own fault for neglecting his desire for food for a reason that no longer appeared valid. Even so, the man drew his tongue out to swipe across his lips, before his gaze continued to search the white-coated land for a sign of prey.

Not the scent of prey, but the smell of another wolf made its way to Dune. He sniffed intently at the air, hoping that whoever it was wouldn't do something stupid like try and eat him for dinner. The other approached, apparently unable to see Dune in the snow. His coat worked well as camouflage during these winter months. The grey wolf did seem to be searching for him, so Dune chuffed in his direction, alerting the other to his presence.

Hopefully, this wouldn't be another wolf wishing to risk his life for Dune. If he tried, the white wolf was not sure he would allow it a second time. The one who had brought him the rabbit a day prior had been kind, but Dune did not wish to be indebted to anybody.

In any case, Dune continued on his way, not wishing to make a scene if he did not have to. He still had plenty of traveling left to do today, and he would need to find food before he finally settled in for the night.
