It had been a few months since Gavriil ventured outside of his pack's borders. The sea lion shores on this heated summer day called to him, so the male traveled out. Scents of wanders and vagabonds danced around his leathery nose enticing his curiosity. The young teddy bear let the loner scents be, for now he traveled to the shores known for their sea lion population.

The sand was hot but the breeze and cold sea water gave the male relief from the heat of the midday. He hunted earlier this morning and still was full from the rabbit he consumed quickly. Lifting up his head he caught the salty wind with his thick fur surrounding his head. He was happy and content in this moment.

Since he had joined the Swiftcurrent Creek pack, Scimitar had strayed very little from the borders -- not out of duty to his pack per say, but more in terms of his desire to settle. Thus far, he had not found that in the Creek, and his eyes would stray every so often in the direction of Neverwinter Forest.. a land he had called home and felt as such.

So his creamy paws had lad him astray on this day, and his aqua eyes were far more taken with the shoreline rather than glancing back to the creek which dissolved from his thoughts for now. The sand clung to his fur -- a strange sensation for a wolf who spent very little time along the salted shores.. and yet there was something enticing about the land today as his muzzle lifted, his nose quivering as he took in the scents about them. Mingled with the sea salt was another, and lumbering forward, the cinnamon male's eyes caught upon the stranger.

Not uttering a syllable, his own figure stiffening slightly, he watched the other.. noting the stranger seemed quite at home along the sandy shores.
