All Welcome
Anyone wanna spar?

The sun was just starting to rise again, the sky turning a shade of purple that was quite beautiful. Sunny had gotten some good sleep for once and woke up with a large amount if energy to spare. He wasn't in a hunting mood quite yet, he wanted to do something different and he knew exactly what he craved. He wanted to attempt to spar again, even though he knew he was simply adequate at it and not skilled like his little brother Dauntless seemed to be. Even so, he lifted his head up to the sky and called for a partner.

He can teach Eventide some stuff? Wanna get the babe some trade threads :)

There was no longer a need for Eventide to cling to Momma or Poppa (he'd learned their names, thankfully), so when he wasn't spending his time with Kasatka or Winterbourne, he was using it to learn more about his new home. There were new faces everywhere, new scents with every breeze, and Eventide couldn't get enough of it. The once aggressive, territorial pup had grown into a rather jovial toddler, albeit not without retaining some of his original apprehensions.

Up ahead stood Sunny, who Eventide had come to know as Baba (or one of them, at least). With his tail wagging excitedly behind him, he trotted up to his brother's side and playfully leapt as high up onto him as he could.

While Sunny of course was expecting a response, it was not expected that it would be Eventide who showed up. However Sunny would never shun the chance to play with one of his newest little brothers so when the young pup showed up and leaped on him, he of course gave a mock scream of fear and fell to the ground. He would not be beaten that easily though, so with a large but gentle foreleg wrapped around the boy he tugged him down too and began to playfully nip at his small furry ears. "You got me Eventide, but now I got you!" he teased in a playful growl.

The game brought back memories of how he had began his interest in fighting. Playful sparring with Krypton that had actually showed promise in fighting. "Wanna learn a bit of fighting?" he asked curiously, sliding his foreleg off of Eventide to allow him to escape.

Fighting was a funny word that Eventide had never encountered, but that he did like the sound of. He took Sunny's defense with open arms, allowing himself to be pulled down without much opposition, but he did slide away once the chance arose. After a thorough shake of his fur and a playful bark, Eventide attempted to mimick his brother as confirmation of his interesting. Fiding! he giggled, using a paw to playfully bat at Sunny's chest, I wanna fiding!

It was when Eventide enthusiastically agreed that Sunny was faced with a problem. Eventide was much, much younger than he was when Krypton had tried to teach him. He wondered how much the kid would actually understand. "Okay....so. Im gonna try to push you down, you gotta move away before i do and then go for a bite." he said. He tried to think of ways that Eventide could use his small size against him but he also kept in mind that the boy would probably still be clumsy. "Ready....go!" he shouted and lifted a paw, swinging it down carefully and attempting to put it down on Eventide's back to push him down.

Yeah, yeah, whatever. Nothing that Sunny said made any sense (not that Eventide was listening, anyway); to the young toddler, it all sounded like yabba-dabba, and he was completely uninterested. Now, what he was interested in was Sunny's raised paw that seemed to be coming right for his head! Eventide ducked and quickly scurried between his brother's forelegs, escaping from his right side. Then, now incredibly excited, he jumped up and tried to take a bite out of Sunny's side.

Sunny gasped as Eventide not only dodged but ducked beneath him and came out on his side, going straight in for a bite. "Holy shi- Ow!" he grunted as the small boy's teeth connected with his flesh and sank in, Luckily it didn't hurt too bad and Sunny twisted away and gently went to shove Eventide away with his massive head. He didn't honestly know how to get thw excited child to stop attacking now and he didn't really want to do anything against his little brother. "Gentle Eventide!" he chided, voice firm but still warm.

In response to Sunny's change of tone, Eventide did back down, but only for a moment. Now, with his head lowered, the older of the two opened his ears to an attack from the dangerous jaws of an excited toddler. Ty hopped up onto his hind legs and tried to grab one of his brother's ears in his mouth, shaking his head to and fro, as though the appendage were a chew toy.

The sigh of relief Sunny gave was too soon as almost instantly Eventide was back on his paws, attacking his ears. His tiny yet sharp fangs shredded through the thinner fur and into the skin, causing sunny to give a sharp and startled growl. Quickly but carefully he lifted his head, tugging his ears away and lifted a paw, shoving Eventide with hopefully just enough force to roll him onto his side but not actually hurt him. If it worked he would keep him down with a paw and try to calm him.

With giggles bubbling from his tiny chest, Eventide allowed Sunny's hit and rolled over onto his back, frustratingly pinned to the ground. It was fun at first, trying to escape, but it quickly became overwhelming; it didn't take long for Eventide to decided that he did not like where this game was going. After a few moments of struggling, the boy began to whine and cry out for mercy, hoping that Sunny would oblige.

As the boy's giggles turned quickly into cries and whimpers Sunny flattened his ears. He absolutely hadn't meant to frighten Eventide at all. He lifted his paw immediately and lowered his head, giving Eventide a quick lick on the forehead "You have to be gentle when playing this game. You should never hurt a friend or family, okay?" his voice was gentle and he spoke slowly, trying to use words he hoped would get the point across to Eventide. Then he began to wag and shook his head slowly, ignoring the stinging of the small bites on his ears. "You're gonna be real good someday Eventide!" he sad proudly.

It was difficult to differentiate between praise and discipline when it was dealt so dually, but Eventide didn't mind. Regardless of what Sunny was saying or the message that he was trying to get across, all that Eventide cared about was his brother's affection. Ben-ty, he thought to himself, repeating the word in all sorts of different voices and tones to entertain himself while his brother spoke.

Once Sunny was finished, Eventide lunged for his brother's paw to deliver a potent strike before dashing off on his agile puppy limbs.

When not a word or sound was given Sunny became pretty certain that his words were going right over the pup's head. He chuckled and shrugged, tail swaying despite the stinging in his ears. Then without warning Eventide lunged in, bit his paw which made Sunny gasp and then darted away again. With a growl that was equal parts warm annoyance and playful intention he set out after him, making sure the zoomy energetic pup didn't get into mischief.

We can fade here if you wish?
