By nightfall she should've been exhausted, but considering she wasn't being subjected to the same level of torment or physical activity as she was accustomed, she was wide awake instead. It was quite cloudy; the weather hadn't turned foul yet but there was a chill in the air that turned each breath in to a puff, and Camilla had an inkling that it would snow. She missed the stars — she missed the moon most of all, but as she paced along one of the central sections of the plateau she thought she could at least make out the dim, fog-like glow of the moon through the mist. As she watched it, she reflected back to her journey - to the race through the forest and the dark, and finding Phox, and how lucky she had been in those fleeting moments. Then, silently, the first few flakes began to tumble from the clouds. She watched as a whisp of snow tumbled haphazardly to the earth, then another, and another — and Camilla's attention drifted from the misty moon to the small flurry that had just started overhead.
