All Welcome
following along the coastline, Benedict would do his best to avoid the packs in the area. he didn't want to cause any trouble for Swiftcurrent due to his ignorance. but if another pack was to approach him, the man would greet them like any other. the good thing about being new to another place was that he lacked the knowledge to turn his opinion sour. so far, everything seemed to be good. decent even. he hadn't run into trouble and the spring season meant for better hunting.

and hunting he would do. he bent over the river, eyes scanning the waters for fish. wolves usually didn't fish but... he always enjoyed the taste of them. raising a paw tentatively over, he'd flash out and hook a fish with his claws before pulling it close. biting into the neck, the prey lay dead instantly. Benedict would smile to himself. his skills hadn't been worn down it would seem. reclining onto his stomach, he'd pull the fish to him properly and dig in.

He hasn't ever seen the ocean before. His parents had kept him away from it, saying that the sea was full of good things, and bad wolves weren't allowed there. But here he is, standing by the sea, smelling the salt and feeling the breeze. He's finally made it.

Drac walks along the side of the river, heading further toward where the water meets the shore. He sees fish in the water and is intrigued. He's never eaten fish before, only prey like deer and rabbits. He wonders how hard it is to catch them.

Then he spots a golden wolf ahead, and crouches down, watching him with wary eyes. He slides his tongue along his teeth at the other male's scent, but reminds himself that he's changed, that he's not like his family. But the scent of wolf flesh and blood just underneath is overwhelming. He waits, wondering if the other wolf will spot him.
