Phex would be giving birth within the next few weeks. She was so big, so round and emotional and cute as ever. He was hesitant to leave her but something nagged in his mind. He hadn't seen Morgan around in a few days and even before he had vanished Laroche hadn't seen his friend that much. He had known Velvet had died and had wanted to give his condolences but he hadn't known how, so he had stayed away in fear of making it worse.
So he left for a day or so, picking up the very end traces of Morgan's trail. He was curious as to the female's scent with him but he figured it had been someone he had failed to meet. After some wandering the scent grew stronger and more recent until he was sure the man was nearby "Eh Cowboy! Can you spare a brother some time?" he shouted.
