All Welcome
Despite his time away getting to familiarize himself with his surroundings, he couldn't help but feel like he owed it to Heloise to stick around even if he hadn't been much help to begin with. Unbeknownst to him that she was gone now but he would breach that eventually. For now he was just going to wander and hope that someone was out there. Someone that had a penchant for bringing in stray dogs and teaching them how to live. So far, he was certain that he had no game when it came to making friends. Heloise had been the only one to stick by his side, really. The others had always seemed to flinch at his company or bare their teeth. A lost puppy just trying to find where home was. While it wasn't a place to be covered in lengthy forests, the birds above were an awakening omen and the sights to see were phenomenal. Roscoe, however, did not stick close to the edge and kept his distance. While adrenaline-junked as he was, he knew what would be presented to him should he reach the bottom - nothing.

The last few adventures hadn't been much of a success — meaning that she hadn't lived in one place for more than a month. The shortest of these last ventures had been a week, but that was far from her least successful attempt. One time she had only lasted a day.

After being chased out this final time she fled south, following the coast until the lands became unfamiliar and moved on even farther.

She stopped once she passed a claim, smelling more wolves further south and southeast and southwest — there were many scents in the breeze and she felt herself getting excited. Perhaps she could give this place a try.

The coast was nice, in that gray sort of way. She approached a cliffside where birds wheeled above. But she wasn't alone, she saw. There was a brown lupine form looking over the cliffs. Hey, she said, her tail waving gently in the breeze.
