All Welcome
your character is *literally* caught between a rock and a hard place.

attempting to explain how any of this had happened was not a feasible feat for the faint of heart. there were too many moving parts to keep track of; too many factors and one undesirable outcome. it was an unfortunate position to be in during the height of the evening.

there was a boulder planted tightly beneath the earth. a colony of moss grew on its face in a pattern that had intrigued anathi. he'd wandered just close enough for a good look and thought that he'd been careful to watch where he was being led.

the hunter snaked around the back of the rock and attempted to climb its surface. it was slippery, though, so garnering enough traction to pull himself up was nearly impossible. he persisted and soon found himself at the peak.

anathi settled into the flattest area for a short rest. the moon was only then beginning its ascent and he knew that he would need the energy for a hunt later that night. an hour or so later, he stretched out his legs and threw himself over the boulder's edge.

it happened too fast for the hunter to register what had happened. when he next woke from his slumber, he found himself stuck and nearly crushed between the boulder and a large collection of stones. the pain in his back and numbness of his legs kept him from moving while he thought about how to proceed.
