Blackfeather Woods Black feathers

The water child moved through the forest with a soft song floating from her lips, something that help a methodical tune but it was nothing to fill the air with sadness or despair. Instead it was something she had though the God-like entities that fill these woods would enjoy, she closer her eyes for a moment as she placed a recently killed hare on the alter. Her song became clearer now that the fur of the rabbit was no longer muffling her voice but the song grew curious as a black bird landed on a branch near her.

It's dark eyes stared at her and she stated back, her song continuing as the avain tilted its head. She swishes her tail at the creature in hopes in understood that she welcomed it, her some now breaking as it flapped a few times before its talons latched onto her shoulder. The singing had a soft pain sound added from the surprise of the sharp claws but she began to move. A bird in tow.
