The old Kingslend was far bigger then their current home. It was as large as the land she had travelled, containing mountains and lakes, plains and forests, it seemed endless. Though the old home was also filled with over hundreds of Deorwine's, there was no ally or enemy, only the few rogues and loners that happened to wander through. The family, the clan, completely dominated the land. They were so secluded, they needed no one but themselves, for they had the High Elk's blessing.

The understanding of the outside was so little, it was hard for many to venture away from the doctrine that was their religion. Even she falls for what was ingraved since birth, the fear of the black pelts, and the wariness that the white-pelted ones would bring upon with their presence, an omen, and a curse.

Célnes did believe though no harm came in what was gray, and gold, she tried to lure her mind away from the most cursed of them all; but it's hard to remove oneself from what it is. Perhaps the woman was trying to convince herself, she was 'special,' and not 'like the rest,' but forcing the new Kingslend to accept what was not their colors.

But in reality; she just wanted power. Not far off from her father, Bardsley, who wanted nothing more then the crown her Grandpa held firm. Even to his near-death, he had not named a Prince, and in the end, they all succumbed to the fire. But she held firm to her royal bloodline, being a direct descendent, it simply felt natural for her to take control alongside with her brother. As well, as making her younger siblings a Prince, for if anything would happen to the two, they would continue.

If her family could see what was happening now, she can already fear their scorns from the heavens.

But it was her time now;

but even a King needed to step away from the watchful eye of the Deorwine's.

She was territoral about this part, it was too close to the forest, but enough where it can cause loners to come forth. Occasionally, as a break, Célnes would venture to the stream to ward away unwanted visitors.
