All Welcome
Purple long flowing shoots come from a small shrub with grey-green leaves... a calming scent. Lavender.

Small yellow-centered white petal flower. Almost like a mini daisy... a sweet smell. Chamomile.

Stocked and smooth dark green leaves, square stems... strong fresh scent. Mint.

She took a bite to freshen her breath and continued to chew on it as she walked in the Herbalists Cashe. Paeon's mother was a herbalist doctor and it's how she meet her warrior father as she tended to his injuries. Because of this Paeon knew the basics of plants and herbs. Perhaps more than the average wolf, but far less than her mother and other doctors she knew.

As she walked she mumbled to herself the plans she was familiar with, mentally quizzing herself.

Leaving the marsh she had so recently found had been difficult and put her in a melancholy mood. Still, she wasn't completely down, as she carried part of the marsh with her in the dried mud caked to her legs and paws, and the fur of her belly. This is how she had always carried water with her, the water of her home in Murkmire, and more recently, the water of every swamp, marsh, bog, or fen she had discovered and left.

Entering this small wood, she found some solace in the trees, more comfortable in dark spaces than she was in the light. She looked about at all the interesting and medicinal plants, keeping this forest's location in her mind as a place she might like to come back to and study more. She could use some of these plants in a spell or ritual, if she needed to.

Nose-blind as she was, her sense of smell overpowered by the mucky scent of swamp water that wafted from her own body, she did not notice the wolf until she was only a few feet away. Taken by surprise, like a deer in headlights, she stopped suddenly and stared, eyes wide, and did not move a muscle.

Perhaps it was the mint she chewed that calmed the stomach, nerves, and anxiety, but Paeon was not all too startled by the approaching stranger that seemed to look everywhere but the direction she was walking in. Her coat was completely filthy and though Paeon chewed on mint, the smell of moisture and residual swamp organizes was enough to reach her nostrils. Paeon pondered the health implications that might be involved with being constantly wet... perhaps some fungal growth... bugs/mites...

When this stranger did finally catch Paeon in her sights she froze in place. "Hey there" Paeon greeted.
