All Welcome
@Mag (Time period is set after both characters current threads.)

The inland lagoon was a muted grey with dreary with clouds blocking out the sun, and the air held moisture that seemed to cling to ones pelt and coat the inside of their lungs as they drew breath. The demoness had taken her refuge here to nurse her wounds after the combative events of the days prior, and she found herself settled beneath a particularly shrouded tree to observe the comings and goings of the watering hole whilst remaining unnoticed herself. A permanent scowl seemed to pain her features as violet eyes surveyed the area. As good a place as any.

The dull ache from the punctures along her maw and tongue were an annoying reminder of the events that had come to pass. They still remained as open wounds that would occasionally add a metallic lilt to the water she skimmed from the new found water source. The large female had still not released the grudge that had formed from the lack of victory, and it would remain that way for some time. Dysis was not a wolf to forgive easily, especially not when that forgiveness entailed her mortal enemy. A tail devoid of color lashed behind her in a manner akin to a feline while her thoughts overtook her focus.

the preacherman came to town.

evenin' miss. his voice was hushed and gruff, like it strained his throat to speak. his smile crack-of-dawn winsome. got room for 'nother?

he'd made sure he was seen, coming down into the basin. first it was cool water on a hot day that drew him in. now, well...

his tail swung like a pendulum. he kept himself a good distance from the pale woman ( now at a second glance, somewhat less appealing ). the smile persisted.
