Fresh blood, a yearling of grey hues and white contrast, unskilled in the ways of wisdom, and wary of the land as if he did not expect it to feel as... cold for summer. He hadn't planned out this far in advance. Paws had traveled where they willed. The wolf found the mind too fuzzy to catch a scent, too wrapped in false hope to notice the markings, too young to have learned the danger that lurked when one wasn't careful. A rabbit was inches from him, too close to catch, and thus he did not. 

His ears perked, much like the rabbit's, turning about slowly, as if sensing its own doom, before darting away in a flash upon seeing the wolfling.

Hviske was getting sick of rabbits. 

All he could catch, he put his nose down, in hopes to follow it.
