All Welcome
It was early morning and as far as she knows they were all asleep but at this moment the young pup couldn’t. When she wasn’t dreaming the young one tried to explore as much as she could before her mama scooped her up.

She slowly stepped out of her bundle of siblings; being as careful as she could not to wake any of them up.

The sun barely rising in the sky; she sat at the mouth of the den blue eyes staring at its beauty.

Candle slipped from the den after her daughter, ever vigilant where her children were concerned. She sat wordlessly beside her. After a moment, she sought to catch her eye, to demonstrate to her the clan word for the sunrise.

The pups were older now, and the priestess was less inclined to curb their adventurous urges. Soon they would be old enough to follow her and her mate from the ravine.

Like always her mama was right behind her and she didn’t mind it at all. She enjoyed the warmth the sun brought to her fur and she didn’t turn around yet; the young one merely tried to look up at her mother ultimately causing her to lose balance and fall down on her back.

The young pup was still tired but she got up and gave her mother a loving nudge fighting the sleep. She was stuck to body language still as she wasn’t quite able to speak her mind and boy did she have a lot to say.

She looked back up at the bright light in the sky and gave a soft yip then looked back at her mother head slightly tilted as if to ask what it was.

Sun, Candle told her in the silent language she had learned from her mate. She and Zoug always spoke this way among themselves and to the children. Plenty of time for them to learn the common tongue from the rest of The Tribe; the priestess, who had always struggled with it, felt no particular calling to speak it.

She brushed her muzzle across the top of her daughter's head, beckoning for her to follow as she stepped past her. She wanted her children to feel comfortable within the ravine. This was their home; one day they would know it perhaps more intimately than even she and S'ari and Zoug.

She made sure to remember it’s name for next time and as she’s mom stepped out the den. Finally she was going to be able to explore this place more.

The little girls tail swayed as she hopped to her feet and followed her mother closely.

She still was getting used to the feeling of the dirt under her paws. It felt funny to the young pup.
