@Durnehiivr @Trajan @Julius @Relonikiv if you will have me :) Setting this mid-morning ish.

The weather was just about freezing, but the sun was out and the sky was blue, much like most of the days lately. Despite the cold, the days were pleasant, more or less relaxed when the Creek wolves weren't scavenging for food. This particular day Falwasi had been daydreaming beside the tumbling waterway, a sign that maybe she'd been awake for too long.

Falwasi stood up from her sitting position, giving her velvet textured pelt a gentle shake before continuing on with her day and abandoning her mid-morning reverie. It wasn't long before the smell of puppies repleted her lungs, causing her heart to increase slightly in its once-steady thumping. The pale golden tinged wolf couldn't help but grow annoyed by her own nerves. She had never felt this way with Summer, or Saena, so what was the difference? Maybe it was because these kids were an eighth of their size and couldn't speak.

Falwasi lingered at the edge of the creek, lapping the glacial water even though it numbed the inside of her throat. It was somewhat unpleasant, somewhat energizing. Once the actual liquid had gone down, it left the after-shock that awakened the hunter, encouraging her to look in the direction of Paarthurnax's den.

I'm going to say this takes place after Julius opens his eyes if you don't mind, as it would be easier for me. :)

Julius had woken up a little while ago, and had drowsily drank milk from his mother's teats until he had fully awakened. Now that he wasn't tired or hungry, it was time to explore the mystery of life. Today's mystery had been how he could see his paws if they got in front of his face. If he moved them forward, they were there. If he moved them backwards, they weren't there. Julius could've (and would've!) been interested in this all day, had something more interesting not come along.

The second mystery for today was a new scent. A stranger who carried the scent stood in the entrance to the den. With a few incoherent babbling noises, Julius quickly forgot about his paws, and started squirming towards the brown, blurry shape in the entrance of the den.

He would not find his sea legs until week three, possibly even four, yet this did not mean that Relonikiv didn't move around a lot. He bustled around the den at a slow, steady crawl, familiarizing himself with his small world. He wouldn't know their names for a while but he could make basic distinctions between his mother, his Aunt Bazi, his brothers and his sister. He knew when an unfamiliar face popped into the den, though they came and went fairly often and he never quite remembered any one of those.

Today's guest lingered just outside the door, looking uncertain. From his position beneath Paarthurnax's tail—it draped over his small body, keeping it warm—the runt of the litter peered upward, grinned and made a sound like, Arf! He then began squirming forward to greet this latest in the rotation of faces. Julius beat him to the punch, though Relonikiv didn't mind. Already, he was assuming his place at the bottom of the pile and the last in the line, so he was content with his lot.

Once within a few feet of the doorway, Relonikiv stopped and smiled up at their guest for a second before he began sneezing. It wasn't just once, twice or even three times... they just kept coming and coming! Although slightly bewildering, they also tickled, so the pup somehow managed to smile through them, his blue eyes watering and his nose running everywhere.

The prince had just finished suckling lazily at his mother's teat, newly opened eyes squinting at everything. He was the only one, of the whole litter who had different colored eyes, it was not obvious now but it would be later. One was a darker blue while the other one was lighter, Trajan didn't know that of course, but when he did he would think he was more important than the others. He was different after all, and obviously that meant he was better than the rest.

The silver prince twisted his head away from the teat when he found the large white fluffy thing beside him was moving. Curious, Trajan threw himself forward and landed smack on his belly, causing him to emit a large burp but that didn't bother him. What bothered him was what the new scent was and how he needed to be the first to see it. But that wasn't going to happen.

Arriving by his sibling's side, Traianus waved a clumsy paw at the larger white body, Julius and lost his balance. Rolling over to Relonikiv, he latched on his younger brother's shoulder and started suckling, the golden colors to him were mystifying.

@Paarthurnax feel free to join in if you would like to! :)

Three clumsy however all the more confident creatures bustled forward to take a look at Falwasi. The first one, a white pup with vibrantly colored green eyes made a few incomprehensible gurgles, whilst the second to reach the adult's location sneezed over and over and over again, smiling despite a very snotty nose. The third, that resembled Shadow almost radically, latched onto the golden child, and started.. sucking?

Falwasi's copper eyes widened as the youngins jostled towards her. She fought the urge to scramble backwards at the sudden movement, somewhat worried by their actions. For what seemed like minutes, the honeyed wolf eyes them suspiciously... And then she laughed.

This must have been the first time she'd laughed since her last encounter with Dovev. Although it was short-lived, it was a melodic yet flawed sound. She was surprised at herself; normally she would have preferred to have nothing to do with children, but the sight of three miniature wolves, bunglingly moving forward to meet the new face, sneezing and suckling and just being abnormal from a grown wolf's stand-point was humorous.

"Hello," she greeted, even though she was almost definite they could not hear her.

Just like how he had quickly forgotten his paws when Falwasi appeared, Julius now forgot about Falwasi as his brothers were racing alongside him. He stopped, and started to watch Trajan. He was waving a grey paw in the air before he rolled over to Relonikiv.

It was an instinctual urge for Julius to be near other bodies at this stage of his life, for his survival depended on others. He wanted to be near the others right now, close enough to touch. So he squirmed toward Trajan and Relonikiv, and then proceeded to climb on top of them, surely crushing them under his larger body.

Relonikiv scarcely had two seconds to recover from his sneezing fit before his brothers tag-teamed him. First Trajan began to gnaw on his shoulder blade, then Julius promptly threw himself on top of them. His body weight pushed Trajan on top of the runt, crushing him to the den floor beneath both of his older, larger brothers.

He was a happy puppy who found joy in most situations. Even now, Relonikiv tried to take the dog-piling in stride with a smile. However, he found he couldn't breathe and his face started to get red and puffy beneath his golden fur. His already watering eyes and nose became worse. He began to struggle to squirm from beneath the two bigger boys, instinctively attempting to escape death by suffocation.

What happened next confused the boy, it happened so fast he didn't even know what was happening. It seems that his younger bigger brother, Julius decided it would be fun to throw himself on top of him and Relonikiv. What was weird was how he was suddenly between Julius and Relonikiv, he was literally suspended in midair, on top of his runt of a brother with his larger brother squashing him. What the heck?

Trajan began squirming, trying to get out of this weird situation, it wasn't comfortable and the silver Angelus Mortis didn't like it at all and he was pretty sure Relon didn't like it either.

It's definitely not my turn but this one's been sitting a while, so here I am to nudge it toward an ending. If someone wants to make one more post after me, it'll be ready for the archives. :)

All three boys squirmed, probably for three very different reasons. Luckily, the two older, larger pups wriggled off their runt of a brother, allowing him to breathe freely again. Relonikiv gave a great gasp, then took a few refreshing sips of air, his tiny rib cage expanding with each breath.

Usually feisty (or lively, anyway) despite his size, he was quite ready to be done with wrestling after all that. Although able to scoot across the floor fairly quickly, he yipped, requesting the help of his mother. Paarthurnax was happy to oblige him, swooping in to pluck him off the floor and squeeze him against her warm, soft flank.

Having recovered from his sneezing fit, then his near suffocation, Relonikiv was happy to forget about their visitor as he took deep, comforting breaths. He felt right as rain again and began to nod off to sleep.

His two brothers were quick to escape. Being on top of two squirming blobs was uncomfortable anyways, Julius decided as he was forced to slide off of them. He watched as both of them scurried away from him. Was he really that unlikable?

Like his brother, Julius also forgot about the visitor. Paar's movement towards Relonikiv distracted him, making him think about his mom instead of the visitor. Deciding that two new adventures would be enough today, he crawled back to his mother's side. Whatever happened with Falwasi he would never know, for he had just curled up next to Relonikiv. Likewise, he was soon fast asleep.

Sorry, guys. I'll archive here <3

Falwasi's breath caught as the white pup scrambled over his two brothers, who were having trouble squirming out of the situation. She knew the bigger male meant no harm, but the poor saffron runt looked like he was having a stroke. Paarthurnax would kill Falwasi, especially Falwasi, if they died under her watch. But as she began to dive for the aggressor to pluck him off his siblings, the runt had surprisingly wriggled out of the mess, scrambling for his mother. The chamoisee wolf looked at him with concern, aware that her mild child-displeasure was beginning to wash away with the children's company.

The larger male followed suit, and soon the third one, until they were wrapped in the desert-borne's embrace. A small and soft smile crossed Falwasi's features as she studied them as a whole, and she gave Paarthurnax a curt nod before walking away, rejoining her trek along the creek, the whole even a little surreal in her mind.
