Potema was young and reckless, like her brothers. Unlike Cicero, she had not traveled far past their borders to the north, nor had she attacked a wolf like Damien. She simply frolicked in the dark woods, observing her mother when she had the time to teach her, but doing nothing of significance for most of her days.

With winter losing its grip, and the Dark Princess growing older, she decided it was high time that she left her dark home in search of new, interesting places. Like the Lake.

The Lake was not far from Blackfeather borders, and it was the first thing that caught the white and ash-dusted pup's eyes when she stumbled out of the darkness into the light of the world. Yipping, she ran towards the huge puddle, noticing that its hue matched her own eyes, which she had seen once or twice from reflections in muddy puddles. Potema splashed into the shallows, the water meeting her shoulders and hips. The princess danced along happily in the water, yipping, barking, and spewing out nonsense rhymes that only a child would understand.

I'm sorry for the mistakes!

Niria had never felt love for strange territory, long fields, without a sigh of life, apart from the other little animals. Loneliness wasn't neither her way of life, so it had never made sense for her to leave the territory where she lives. It wasn't long time away, when she heared about plenty of other packs. She just felt moved by her curiosity, and in a warm morning, she decided to go explore them.

She hadn't followed the river for so long, when a continous splash in water, interrupted her. Her fur bristled quickly, and she put her belly up against the ground, trying to figure out if it was a threat. Slowly, she got closer to a pretty clear lake, where a little wolf was kind of... dancing. She looked around, shocked by not seeing any older. She can't be any problem thought while laiding back her ears, and she sat down.

"Hello..." she said kindly to the little white.

Potema was her mother's daughter, a child of the dark forest known as Blackfeather. She caught sight of the new wolf immediately and jumped, turning her body to face her. The princess shoved her ears forward, narrowed her eyes, and stuck her tail high in the air, mimicking her mother when she faced intruders at the border. Her indigo eyes studied the woman curiously. "Who'er jou! Huh!" She growled, her tail wriggling despite her seemingly stern body language.

Although Niria was the stranger there, she didn't felt afraid of the little puppy. She had ever loved play with them, as sign of her own childish attitude. At a glance, Niria valued the little one as one of the cutest girls she had ever seen. It was obvious, she was traying to intimidate her, but Niria weren't able not to giggle. She laid down, with her tired paws playing in the oposite border of the lake. "I am Niria" answered with a tricky smile, shaking her tail "Who are you?".

Potema looked the wolf up and down, suspicious at her smile. What did she want? Mama had told her that the pack had enemies all around, and that's why they had to learn secret methods of murder, to keep them safe. She told her about false smiles that people used to hide their true feelings, but assassins were the masters of that. Could this woman be an assassin like from the Dark Brotherhood, or a rogue one? Beware...she will hurt...beware... Potema jerked at the familiar voice that rang out among the low whispers that sang through her brain night and day.

She decided to ignore it, this time. "Princess Potema of Blackfeather Woods." She said regally (and grammatically correct), intoning the words she had practiced many a time. She had heard from Mama that princesses and other royalty had very long names that went on, and on, and on. But she didn't have that many titles yet. "Wat'd jou want?"
