Serpent Lake ice, ice, baby

A search for Yavru had sent Defne to serpent lake. It was short-lived, quickly having found the snake attempting to bury himself. Pulling him from the ground, she decided that the two of them would spend the afternoon beside the water.

The lake had began to freeze over; a process that Defne had seen very few times throughout her life. It was strange to see, but she had found her fun in clawing at the fragile ice. How often did wolves fall through this stuff?

Tuck wasn't too far from the lake. He'd been by it once before, and was coming back, wanting to get some water.

There was someone near the lake and he narrowed his eyes curiously as he approached. His tail flicked as he neared and bent his head to take a drink. He didn't speak, not at first.
