Pangur is silently giddy at the idea of keeping it for herself. So selfish! but ah... it was cold, and only going to get colder. Perhaps it was not the worst of things...

She lets Eydis begin her own feast, eyes on her, ears attuned to the forest around them. ::Oh, this thing? She lifted her wrapped leg, flexed it against the ground a moment before puffing her chest with pride. I challenged a cougar for the rights to some carrion, and ah—he was quite mad about that. Do not worry, Pangur survived. She leered inwards, a snicker echoing from her jaws. I got what I needed from it, but the wounds were deeper than I thought. I was lucky to have come across the Harkonungr, Seiðkona has done lovely work. It is quite a talent, no?::

Brave woman. She snickered, tail thumping. Though, her usual neutrality returned after a moment. I have not met her, so I would not know.

She was not a social woman, and so she rarely met other's without them approaching her. Solharr's wife had not; it was as simple as that, and Eydis was happy that way. She had the few wolves she liked, and they were the one's who kept her here.

Pangur grinned at the compliment, let out a light laugh and flaunted herself playfully. I am simply lucky. The gods deem it so. Nothing would come to harm her, not so long as the gods continued to watch over her as they always had.

Eydis sat in stark contrast to Pangur, neutral and stable to her bouncy and spontaneous. She thought, there might have been some sadness locked behind the neutrality. Resignation, perhaps? Pangur would have to ask another time, now hardly seemed to be the best of opportunities. No? Well, I am sure you will. She shrugged, standing to prepare to cart the rest of the deer back. She could not offer the most support, but it would be a difficult battle to try and deny her assistance.

cameo!

he watched. he needed proof. proof that eydís would see his advice through, though she refused to acknowledge his existence. he hadn't cared for the most part, truly, but as he sat beyond the tree line, a vulture in wait, he saw a glimmer of hope pass across her stricken features.

pangur, too, but she was always like that. a little firecracker ready to be honed at any moment. she would make an excellent náttfari. the hárkonungr could see it now, unfolding as the same sun Álfgeirr fell upon on his great awakening.

satisfied that they not only took down prey, but seemed to forge their own bond, he took his leave, golden eye gleaming before vanishing into the wilds.

She only gave a light hum in response now, bringing herself to her paws. Come, we will return to the densite. She made the decision quickly, grabbing what she could of the fallen deer.

Pangur was interesting, to say the least. Eydis hoped to hunt with her again some day - preferably when her leg was healed properly.

fade after your next?
