All Welcome
he brought a lizard into the ravine, and let it go before a tangle of children.

go! the clan male exulted, gesturing emphatically. he wished to see their speed. it would not be much time before he wished them to seek their protective spirits.

the sun was warm. zoug was pleased.

Much had the children grown in two months, a marker of transition for them, between being able to come and go from the birthing den, their eyes changing, their food changing, their words forming.

Gaara spoke little, if at all, though he had grown, showing signs of obtaining his father's stature as he aged.

When his father dropped the desert lizard, Gaara's dark tail flagged high. He woofed, grasping the attention of others, but remained back and observed.

Whenever any one of her family ventured out of the den; Aylah was sure to follow. The pup loved outside and always wanted to explore; or explore as much as she could as long as she wasn’t too far from mama or papa.

She followed behind her brother and watched as her papa had some sort of creature in his mouth. He had dropped it and the chase was on; her brother didn’t really go after it but that just meant more fun for her

Brac pushed forward alongside Aylah with a chorus of coyote yips, communicating nothing other than sheer excitement at the prospect of a chase. Though Zoug had once perturbed him as the Windblower, his father gained favor in the child's eyes with every little gift he brought them. His memories from those early days were all but forgotten.

As the lizard darted and Aylah followed, Brac arched around, puppy paws fumbling to intercept the toy and scare it back his sister's way. A mighty show of his teeth ought to do it! He rumbled out a growl and snapped at the air near the fleeing lizard.

ahh sorry for the wait on this! would love an updated one at some point :) could fade here or go another round

@Gaara watched. @Aylah ran forward. @Brac moved to help their sister, and this drew an approving nod from the coyote father. it was the first sign of cooperation in a hunt.

gaara commanded his focus once more, but he did not order his son forward; the clan male only waited to see what the other might do.

the lizard would not escape this day.

last for me!

His sister gave chase, his brother took to the other side, goating the lizard back into their sister's direction.

Gaara could feel his father's gaze upon him, which caused a happy tail wag from the youth. Gaara stepped forward, adding to his siblings in surrounding the lizard. He would stomp his paws whenever the creature came his way, but allowed Aylah the floor to attack.
