There had been a change of plans. And Etienne had done his best to do as asked. They would do extra patrols. Watch and listen. But today it was a more personal nature with which he found himself down from the creek. His thoughts on his nephew. His stomach was tied up in knots.Requin was missing.

But he was stopped short by the scent of others. He blinked clearly around, unsure. Swayed on his feet a bit. He had exhausted himself in recent days. But the pain of losing a nephew this time. It was as if the childhood returned to haunt him and simuzu except it wasn't a big eagle.

Etienne loosed a small sad lyrical howl. Not to let anyone know he was here. More seeking out Shark and hoping to find him. Though thus far his searching had been in vain.

Perhaps Anselm would fit in here. But it hurt him to think of Ezra and Gideon among the fold, that they may become cold and angry as well.
