At first glance, from the distance she maintained, the she-wolf had thought she was looking at a beach of muddy rocks. A minor annoyance, as she would have to skirt around them, but not a problem… Mirwen was content to simply be exploring the shoreline—the salty seaside unlike any place she had ever been prior.
But then… they started barking. And crooning... before groaning. And then… flopping.
"The hell?" And she paused in her step, alarm written in her pale lavender eyes as she watched, with growing horror—before realizing as one of the ‘rocks’ crooned to another… these were animals of some kind.
Really lumpy, awkward looking animals.
Slowly, she reclined to a seat—the sand clinging to the wet parts of her fur, marring her silky ivory pelt. But appearances didn’t matter right now—what mattered was that before her were the strangest things she had ever encountered.
