Moonspear Here before and after me

@Treepie had not come to visit for some time. He was beginning to miss her, and so with the permission of his maman he found himself trotting over to the neighbouring ulaq in search of the regent.

Everyone seemed so tense these days, especially since he had caught the scent of his father on the wind. He had to assume that was the reason why - maman did not seem to like him, so maybe the others didn't like him either. Then again, maman didn't seem to like a lot of people recently. She never said it, but he could see it in the tension of her brow whenever certain wolves were mentioned.

Barking when he was close enough to the ulaq, he hoped to see Treepie pop out with a smile. She seemed to him someone that was always postive, and he needed to see some happy faces today.

Tiki didn't know what was her sisters problem. But she didn't like it. She was becoming reclusive and quiet. Kinda rude to others. It was concerning.

So she was on her way to ask when she came across the pup Ludo. She had met him in a starlit night and was pleased to see him.

It was not Treepie that came to greet him, but Tikaani trotting up to the ulaq. Hi Tiki. He responded to her greeting, looking to the girl with a light smile. Have you seen Treepie? She hasn't come to visit maman in a while.

He wondered if maybe she had gone on an adventure without telling them, if she would bring back something neat.

Her chest tightened at teh boys words. And she grew angry with her sister. Treepie needed to snap out of this funk. She understood that Treepie was upset. but she could not hurt others because of it. 

Tiki smiled despite the anger in her heart. I think that Treepie is just a little busy right now. I'm sure she'll come and visit you soon. How about you and I go on a small adventure? Do you think your mama would let you? We can ask her?

She thought of a nearby meadow, dipped between a small rocky faces. It was safe and there were small critters and flowers. She had found it on one of her forays.

Well if Treepie couldn't come out, then Tikaani was just as good. She had helped him out during his skunk incident and kept it a secret, after all. She won't mind! He was quick to respond, howling to his mother at their neighbouring ulaq.

Waiting for a moment for Pala to respond, he grinned and trotted to Tikaani's side. Let's go! I never get to go anywhere without Ignace. He giggles, tail wagging at lightning speed.

Tiki shifted and wagged her tail. A dip of her head. 

I think you'll like it.

She led him over rocks and through small meadows. Until she led him down in a soft grassy hillock meadow. Wildflowers and bugs flew lazily along. Small prey animals dipped and ran under plants 

The walls weren't high but it was safe. A small safety net on a mountain. She waited breath held to see what he would do.

Tikaani had brought him to a meadow, an adventure as promised. He stood for the moment, tail twitching and a smile on his face. You found this? All on your own? It was an assumption he had made quickly, a fantasy in his over-active mind.

Turning his head to look at Tikanni before whipping back to the meadow ahead, a buzzing little bee landed on his nose. The boy froze entirely; frankly he had never seen one before.

She nodded. Yes i did. I quite like to go on adventures. Don't you? I have traveled quite a bit all over this mountain. I don't recommend doing it until you are alittle older though or with someone. It can be very dangerous.

She chuckled. That is a bee. They feed on the flowers and make honey. Honey is very sweet, but don't touch it unless you are ready to get stung. They have sharp teeth in their butts. That one shouldn't hurt you though. he's just resting. She said it so calmly with a gentle kindness.

The bee flew off after only a moment, Ludo admittedly glad for its departure. Where do you think they're keeping the honey? He asked, watching the small yellow and black bug leave. Not that I'm going to touch it. He really didn't like the idea of being stung.

Flowers had begun to bloom, and it was his first time seeing so many all together. He probably shouldn't roll in them, right?

Tiki took his question and looked around. Usually in a dead log or a dead tree. They riddle it with all their little paths and such. I Saw one opened one time. Lightning had struck it.

She nosed around for a second. And then pointed at an old log. There see. She crouched and pointed out the little bees that hovered and dipped down in.
