The earth had rumbled and it had not ceased to keep increasing. Agitation was evident in the land below but his concern was with the ocean on their doorstep. It's unpredictable desires presented a threat bigger than he could imagine. Even on his hazy days he knew better than to keep pushing their luck. The time to find higher ground had come, as much as it pained him to part from their whalebone home.
