// @D'Artagnan ^^ Minty is gonna love meeting a bird friend. Keeping vague on her previous thread.
After the wandering debacle and the disappointment she'd experienced, Mintaka had sulked. Or, well, briefly. For like, a night. Mostly she had just slept, then woke with plans to go see her companion out in the field again. She'd be sneakier this time, maybe. Make sure that she wasn't followed. Or maybe Almight wouldn't even be there - maybe he didn't really think of her as a friend anyway. But he had said that, hadn't he? That they were friends?
Ugh. Relationships were confusing, and Mintaka was a little bored with the topic. Either they were friends or they weren't. Either they'd meet again, or they wouldn't. But Minty was... well, she was rather determined.
Today, though, she stuck to her own territory. Escaped off a little bit so that she could explore, without interruption. It was a nice day - warm and sunny - and Mintaka had decided to play in a little swath of more wooded area.
"...and the monsters were no match for Mintaka the Great!" she announced, stomping on a stick and letting out what she thought was a ferocious growl, incapacitating the piece of wood. "They flee from her mighty paw!"

There was still no sign of Miss Lainie, nor the one she was searching for. However, not unlike the young Mintaka, D'Artagnan was a determined creature and would not - could not - cease in his relentless search. He thought he'd try his luck westwards, maybe his saviour had traveled to the Hinterlands while the weather was nice.
Only he did not reach quite that far, for as he glided over the mountains, the raven caught sight of a small, silver speck. It was yelling something, and with his interest piqued, Dart suddenly dove downwards, alighting upon a branch nearby the pup. He had caught the tail end of her almighty cry, and he croaked out an amused laugh.
"Mighty indeed, mighty indeed!" he proclaimed, eyeing the stick she had snapped in two. "Small yet, but wolf will grow, yes."

Feel free to skip Dart in group threads as needed

A voice, but not one that came from the ground? Mintaka spun a few times, trying to figure out who had just spoken to her, when her gaze alighted on a white figure in the trees overhead.
Birds could speak??
Excitement bubbled in Mintaka's chest as she bounced around, eyes round and locked onto the bird. "Super mighty!" she boasted, tail wagging furiously behind her. "I never met a talking birdie before! What's your name? I'm Minty! It's nice to meet you!" Perhaps she babbled a bit too much in her excitement, but who could blame her? This was the coolest thing ever!
