Barret ranged from the valley, again. His paws carrying him only a short distance this time, before stopping at a stream. The water was cold, ice forming towards the centers of the waters, such little chunks bobbing up and down with the current. Barrett hummed as he dipped his nose to the surface, lapping at the water and quenching his thirst with a cool sting.
It was here, now, that his mind would choose to process, relinquishing thoughts of @Ravah, and @Vanja. How frustrated he was with the former. How enamored he was with the latter. And of @Sega, and @Angel, and the clear blossom that laid between them, warm and new and something that he wasn't quite sure he'd ever have. Or, ever have again, he thought.
The outlaw drew in a sharp breath, craning his head upwards so that his nose may be tilted towards the sky, and releasing it in a plume of white steam. For a few moments, he stayed like this, breathing in the cool air.
It was now that he turned, trudging back to the valley.

that is when he comes upon ravah.
she is quiet, serene. eyes ringed by frustration staring back at her from the reflection of the cold stream, and her ears perked towards the rush of flowing water. bits of ice floating by, skewing her perception of herself with each pass.
she huffs and turns, inhaling a deep breath as her shoulder sinks inwards; paws roving over snow as if she were born to. letting her gaze sweep one last time over the territory before she moved to return to her den...
only to find herself staring at callahan's lumbering, brown form. much akin to a grizzly from some angles, she near bristles; hackles lifting, but immediately relaxing when she realizes he isn't a bear come to maul her face off.
perhaps she would have preferred that.

Ravah,he murmured, once wine-dark eyes had settled upon that silver, streamlined figure. There was no malice, nor anger behind his tone. The irritation that he had felt after their hunt was short-lived, and, ultimately, he did not find himself caring too heavily for the words that were shot between them.
She was within a land that was new, and unfamiliar. There was no doubt that she would likely be, if not 'on edge', then perhaps just simply not used to this place. Hating it, even. Probably wanting to go home. He let a breath leave his lips once more. Without moving towards her, he gave her a nod, his tail swaying behind him. His face was accepting, forgiving, if she wanted that.
Apologetic, if that was what she would rather. But he would not say such out loud. Instead, his eyes squinted with a kindness, and with a flick of his tail, he would invite her to walk with him, should she so accept.

she had been expecting anger. annoyance. vexation. anything but... whatever it was that shone on his face now. acceptance, or something like forgiveness.
she approaches him with chin turned high. one of three emotions ravah felt comfortable sharing, it seemed.
those eyes of his are alight with a frustrating amount of kindness that the man seemed drawn to and something ravah was swiftly realizing. they are met with her own, though little is revealed within them... as was typical for the icy huntress.
she falls into a circadian kind of rhythm alongside him, two strides for each of his one.
