Burke walked through the darkness of the forest thinking about the words Kove said. The white king had offended him great deal, but he also made him think. The fellow dark brother warned him about his son that was ready to let himself known. Burke grew grim at the thought. He couldn't believe that there was anyone that looked like him. Plus the male was probably just Darius kid and not his. The fact that this pup was not keen on him, as Kove mentioned, made Burke predict that the youngster would talk about how unfair it was he left.

Yet, in the safety of having his own thoughts Burke couldn't help but wonder what would happen if the male was really his son. Kove seemed utterly convinced he was. What would he do then? An adult didn't need a father. He was more the father of Damien, Cicero and Potema. Or well, he wasn't sure if Potema saw him as her dad. While he thought of them, how would his own blood react to the fact that he was taking care of pups that weren't his own. Burke never had the time to take care of his own real son. Burke's mind was just clouded with thoughts. Maybe this fellow should show up soon so Burke could go on with his life. He wished he could get his own counsel.
