Burke realized that being a chronicler wasn't something that might fit the dark male. Burke would make it his mission to think about it. "Maybe you can be a counselor like me," He then offered. It would be good to have two counselors so they would have two perspectives. Burke then let the topic of his son slide. It was something that he should think about himself. Or better yet, not think about it. The large male looked curious when Ohen asked about the Brotherhood. So he had interest... That was point one. After that came the killing. He eyed at Ohen. "She should not have told you that actually," he pointed out calmly.

"When someone shows interest and kills a wolf then he or she might be recruited, yes. Now you know you need to kill. It becomes a mission. Even if you don't like it you can kill one time to become part of the brotherhood. If you don't know we as a brotherhood know that you kill because you aren't afraid to kill," Burke explained. But now they couldn't reverse it. Burke hoped that he made his emphasis clear that when you became part of the brotherhood there would be more killing other wolves than just once to gain entrance. "Have you ever killed a fellow wolf, Ohen?"
