Rising Sun Valley scapegoat

Somebody approached, and Tomahawk froze for a moment, unsure. Was this one of the Khal's recruits? A moment passed before she confirmed that, and a whine collected at the back of her throat. Tomahawk threw herself to the ground, white belly greeting the sky above her. She licked her lips, flattened her ears, and awaited her fate. Thus far, nobody had physically abused her, but she could hear in their voices that they were capable of such things.

As she awaited the other's final few steps toward her, she wondered what would become of the next days, weeks, months, and years. This life, with the Khal, was everything she had not known she'd been missing. Each day was a new outlook on life.
