The little wren didn't answer to Hiraku, but did do what he asked. She scoured the surrounding area, and found little pieces. What she couldn't carry, she pointed out. This was nothing like she had ever seen. It may have been a predator that did this, but it did not kill him for food. No, this was for something else. Sport, or perhaps some kind of personal matter. Or maybe he was just at the wrong place, at the wrong time.
