She wasn't familiar with that term, though she was quite sharp, especially for her age. She was probably asking about the plains wolves that had disappeared a while back, leaving their slaves behind for reasons unknown.

"Yes," she replied after a contemplative pause. Again, she wondered, Why? Her head cocked slightly, though she held her tongue still. It was the she-wolf's job to ask questions and Reggie's to answer them.
