"I don't want to play," she added, trying to make it abundantly clear that she wasn't being coy. Reggie genuinely didn't have any use for things like play.

Sart would have played but she was missing. Reggie turned to slink away in search of her when a thought struck her. She stopped and turned to face Desna again. "I need to find my sister. Do you want to help?" She paused. "We can make it into a game." Surely that would get her attention... and get her off Reggie's back (literally).
