Welcome!

Because Ukko can’t sit still for longer than a few minutes, the cut on his toe hadn’t healed enough to not cause him any problems.  The cut isn’t big enough to hinder Ukko of his daily activities such as border patrol and hunting small game should he come across it.  It is big enough to be a nuisance for not healing fast enough.  There’s still patches of snow from the first fall, which hadn’t snowed since, and it might be a few more days before it does again.  He tries to walk over them to numb the area so he could go a ways without needing to limp.  Most of the time he leaves small blood patches where he stands.

He’s able to get a ways before it’s splitting open again but he doesn’t have time to think about it as he sees another figure ahead.  Ukko takes a deep breath and carefully steps forward, not giving in to wanting to hold his paw off the ground.  “Hey,” he greets.  Her scent doesn’t hold much of the pack but that didn’t mean she didn’t belong.  Askha had mistaken him when he’d first gotten here but he’d understand.  “Who are you?" Ukko comes to a stop a few feet away, leaning onto his other leaves to reduce some of the pressure on his right foot.

Ukko lingers for a while to make sure the wolf can be as close to the pack as she is, before he goes about his business and leaves her to getting settled in.
