With a leap and a jump, Ishi set out on a day of exploring. To be honest, he was so new to Lost Creek Hollow that there was still loads to do around there, so much land to cover, streams to follow, wolves to meet and stories to hear. But Ishi had been told that he could earn some extra credit in his new pack by pursuing a chosen skill and sticking to it until it was useful to the pack. And so he decided to become a Scout — and that meant setting out for unknown lands, not lazing around at home.

He was more than happy to go out adventuring, of course. It was his way. Due to blissful naiveté, Ishi was quite fearless when it came to the wild, and there was a spring in his step as he took to it. What was more, the boy had some glorious ambitions that most definitely meant venturing beyond the borders of Lost Creek Hollow, so he had plenty of reasons to be out today.

When the strange stones ahead soared in his line of sight, Ishi did two things — first his jaw dropped in awe and interest, and then he picked up his jaw as he became very much distracted by another presence. There was someone already there. The youngster took a few more paces before instinct told him to slow down and finally halt, one white paw lingering cutely in mid-air as he regarded the stranger from the side. Lone wolves could be dangerous, you know...
