His observation of the stone circle, the endorphin high he'd been in at “feeling” the Æsir, a connection so close and strong it was nearly palpable for Valr, he had nearly missed the soft crunch of snow beneath paws, though it was the scent of another that tugged at Valr's senses. Male; draped heavily with the unfamiliar scent of other's upon his coat. Pack. He had been joined by another, but it took the flame a few moments to crash down and back to reality. The heartbeat of the Æsir dulled though it remained present for him he was able to tune it out in exchange of turning his attention to his unexpected companion. It was a slow, leisured, Valr's turn so that he could fix his ethereal silver gaze upon the other. If not for the shadow and silhouette, lifted paw and seemingly golden eyes of his rather fluffy companion Valr might not have initially been able to pick him out. Against the ivory backdrop of the world around them, the other male camouflaged quite well; unlike the flame who stood out like a burning inferno against the pallid landscape.

The other male was young, Valr assessed. Probably a yearling if he had to guess, though he didn't appear to be wolf; or to be fair full wolf. Hybrid, perhaps. The shaman simply returned the stare though he did not do it in such the cute manner that his companion chose to elude; determined that he would not (as was rather usual for him) be the first to break the silence.
