Her nipping was unexpected but welcomed, tail beginning to wave behind him. The motion was calm, slow, but the message clear: he was happy. She brought joy into his life, lighting up his days within the dark woods. He knew his feelings were reciprocated—she'd confirmed as much several times already—meaning nothing would come between them. The thought of one of the other males attempting to weasel their ways closer to her nearly caused a growl to grow deep within his throat. It was strange, even to him, as he'd never been the overly possessive type. Then again, perhaps he'd never had someone in his life worth being possessive over. It was that fact, combined with her actions, that had him certain they belonged to one another. Even without words, their intentions seemed to be made clear.

Kove bowed to her then, the action leaning more towards play than submission. However, he did not give her the chance to react to the gesture before he'd righted himself and moved forward, touching his nose to her own. Instead of pulling away, as he'd grown somewhat accustomed to doing, he'd allowed himself to remain there for a few passing moments. He felt like he belonged there, close to her. As if all the choices in his life had been steering him towards that very moment, and he silently wished that it might never end.
