Gyda had left the trio she had been introduced to the night previous, confident that with her return to her home to spend the night that they would not vanish with the coming morning. It seemed highly unlikely considering they had, or so Gavriel had said, come all this way to follow Heda. Gyda made the only promise she could keep to them: she would bring them Thuringwethil; and that was all she'd been willing to give. How Thuringwethil would react Gyda did not know, nor what her Heda would do with the trio of Seageda's wolves that had come to find her.

Gyda awoke with the rise of the sun and roused Heda from her slumber and bid her to follow. She was vague, not sure if she told Thuringwethil if the other woman would flat out refuse all together. “We are nearly there,” Gyda murmured in softened encouragement to Thuringwethil. As they neared, the viking queen noted that Gavriel (at least) was awake and waiting for them. “They are a trio, he claims they are from Seageda, and that they are loyal to you Heda,” Gyda spoke to Thuringwethil, glimpsing up at the darker woman as she slowed to a stop, curious as to how this exchange was fated to go.
