IC: Macawi was walking along the other side of the river from Thistle, when she looked up and saw her friend, the pregnant one, as Macawi so lovingly called her. She called from across the space, "Thistle! Hello, friend! How goes your pregnancy? I see you are still large and swelling!"

She didn't know what else to say, until she remembered her promise about hunting food for the wolf. "Do not move, friend!" she said. Then, without a second thought, she leaped into the water and swam furiously through the tide until she crawled, heaving, to the other side. "Well," she said. "That was… refreshing." She shook the water from her fur, and then gave her coyote grin to Thistle.

"Would this one like a nice, fresh fish?" she asked. "Macawi is just quick enough to catch them!"
