OOC: I'm so pissed right now. I WROTE a reply on here already and either forgot to press send or... SOMETHING. *sigh* I'll rewrite it now, I guess.

IC: Macawi grinned again at her friend and said, "Then watch and learn, and one day perhaps even Thistle will be able to catch fish!" With that, she sat down at the river's edge, watching the water intently. She did not blink, and her eyes reflected the color of the water so that they became an odd tannish-bluish color.

Her muscles remained coiled for quite some time as she waited for a fish to swim close enough to the surface for her to grab it. She became completely mesmerized by her task, losing sight of all else around her, until she looked like a statue sitting there beside the river. Finally, her prize appeared. She saw the trout darting toward her in the water. Like a snake, Macawi's head lunged downward into the water and she snapped up the wriggling fish in her jaws, biting down until it moved no more.

With a triumphant gleam in her eye, she turned towards Thistle and dropped the fish at her paws. "There. Eat up, friend. Has this one ever tasted fish? It is delicious!"
