Charley scented the female coming towards him, but couldnt pinpoint her location until it was the same as his.... Almost too literally. She stopped so close he could have poked her with a paw; probably would have done so if she didnt look so pissy. She gave him some half ass glare and was not deaf from the low growl that tumbled from her muzzle. He couldn't help but look at the silvery female before him and laugh. Not outright in her face of course, but a rumble deep in his chest that escaped in a chuckle. Did she think she could intimidate him? But damn was she sexy for trying, and it definatley raised his opinion just a wee bit. 
       "Come on darlin', no need for all that big talk."
This time, he laughed a little, but not at her. It was a friendly sound, and the multicolored male tipped his head with a charming smile. 
             "I promise I won't bite.... First."
He left it up to her to make the choice, but hoped she relaxed. She was pretty, and he really did want to make friends. He just didn't know how to let his usual ruse down: he was a naturally cocky, flirty wolf. That couldn't change. Only the manipulative part, and he was willing to give it a try if it meant he wasn't alone in the world other than Emory.
