Larksong Grotto Come Meet Your Match, If You Dare.

Aspen felt like she was being watched as she trailed in the dense foliage. They were close and she was happy to be showing him this place. Someplace she cared about, which was odd considering she hadn't wanted to do that ever. Even with her brothers.  

Her tail swung happily behind her but she turned her head slightly as Charley spoke. He was curious as to their location whether he would get to know. He called her darling again which made her pause for a moment before speaking. What was this wolf doing to her. She was confused.

"It's a surprise," she said with a playful tone to her voice. " We are almost there," she stated darting a few more strides forward and trotted out into the open and approached the edge of the lake. 

She approached the edge of the pristine lake and turned to face the masked male. "This is it," she said with a smile. "This is by far my favourite spot in this territory, its beautiful," she said peacefully as she took a moment to watch and observe the male's reactions.

At this point she would be surprised if this wolf thought she was bipolar or something. She had gone from growling at him to being comfortable around him. Which she didn't understand either. She had never been able to do that with any wolf, she had learned when she was small it wasn't okay to trust any wolves. Including family, because they could easily betray you in a heartbeat. Yet oddly, she felt safe with Charley.
