The patched male looked at her more than the lake, only mildly interested in a simple place. A place would be here forever, for the most part. There were probably millions of lakes around the world, and as a traveler Charley was hard to please with a location. But passion was rare in wolves these days, it seemed, and this graceful female had it. She spoke further of it, and his carribean eyes went to her once again. This time, they stayed. She walked off before he got the opportunity to say anything, but he was already padding after her without a thought or conscious demand of his body. Still, his eyes didnt leave her, sometimes wandering her frame but mostly lingering on her face, her eyes.

He didn't really tell people about that point of his life, that first year. It wasnt particularly bad, but it was slightly traumatized from it: the very reason he'd built walls and didn't trust. The reason he conned, traveled the world.
