After she finished her drink she sat up and licked her maw. Then Aspen rose and stretched. She was tired and she presumed so was Charley. As if to have read her mind Charley offered to walk her home. Such a gentlemen. She mused and chuckled slightly as he made himself look all proud. 

"Not at all," she said with a warm smile before padding in the direction of her den. This evening had been great. Not only had she met someone new. She was able to tell the wolf more than she had ever told any one. Larksong was finally starting to feel like home. She walked alongside the male her tail wagging slowly by her legs.

She was happy, truly happy. She gave a couple glances to Charley here and there but mainly she was letting her mind wander, for once it wasn't going anywhere bad. Perhaps she could finally put her past behind her. 

Once the two wolves reached her den she bid Charley goodnight with a dip of her head and a smile. "Goodnight Charley," she spoke softly before turning and padding into her den. This was a fresh start, a new beginning for Aspen. She could just feel it.
