Neverwinter Forest Family is more than you know

Afternoon was upon the forest as Rannoch awoke from his nap. Sunlight trickled into the den and the cub stirred at his mother’s side. He had gotten his fill in food so hunger had not woken him. Instead, a certain restlessness had roused him from his napping. Blinking slowly, the cub lifted his head from the pillow that was Eshe’s forearm and yawned. Turning to find his brother, who was never far from his sight, smell, or touch, Rannoch’s sleepy eyes fell onto a figure at the mouth of their den. Despite his lack of sharp vision, he could tell that the figure was not his mother or father. He could tell that this wolf was a different color, despite the shadows that somewhat masked the figure.

He had never met a wolf that wasn’t apart of his immediate family and naturally was curious on just who this new wolf was. Turning himself towards the mouth of the den, the boy slowly wriggled towards Kieran, grunting as he moved.
