deirdre tilted her head at the inquiry, and then noted the context in which it was spoken. that rowan also saw her father did not surprise her terribly; he would need to be present to her in her times of need. so rowan had not truly been alone, and now certainly never would be. yes, she confirmed, though did not inquire further on rowans own visions. she trusted it.

as for the question asked, deirdre shook her head. why should i be? my father lives on--an addition to the legacy he has left behind! to have them here... it only solidified what all knew to be true, and the power the mayfair family would come into again and again. deirdre did not think to question that rowan had come into the fold as a mayfair, herself, and coupled with another mayfair; by her fathers will, it was done. why would she resent rowan, or her father, or the children to be for that? it was much too late to think of resentments that might have been. whoever it is that comes, they will be loved, this she believed, not knowing that not all felt for her sentiment on the matter.
