Osprey kept grinning, as if she understood the compliment. She then let out a great, big sigh... though not a sad one. It was a happy, contented sort of noise. She was comfy, lying there, staring at the planes of her aunt's face. It was impossible for the child to grasp the concept of their relationship to one another, yet all the same, it was like she sensed that this wolf was special.

"Adorable and poopy," Peregrine answered, a smile in his voice. "It's crazy how they're each forming a distinct personality," he added, then took a few moments to describe each pup's emerging personas. When he finished, he said, "Kids are great. You should totally look into them someday, Oss," and laughed gently.
