Finding nothing within her calm enough to speak again, the pale queen nods her head in a quick manner to dismiss the pack from her attention. There was nothing else to say, the child had won. The stubborn, naive child had won. She loved Deirdre like a younger sister, but there were days like this that she could hardly stand to look at her. In time, she'd return to her normal view of the girl, but for now it was clouded by jealousy and anger.

Without another word, the icy woman turns and leaves, her tail flicking behind her. That was enough trying for one day, maybe some other time she'd actually be able to do her job.
