Creek

Pan had been watching the wolves intently, concealing himself behind a rough bush nearby. He crouched down and listened to their talk of adventure. Pan too had an itch for an adventure, and he guessed that spying on a pair of very strong wolves was adventure enough.

Just before him he spotted a small field mouse grooming itself. He didn't know if the wolves could smell it but he crouched even further and wiggled his butt, intent on catching this field mouse, even if it meant the wolves noticing his presence. The field mouse was chewing on a small nut when Pan decided to pounce. He grabbed the field mouse between his teeth and froze when he finally saw the two wolves, noticing how big they were compared to him.
