Aesop heard the approach of another, though at first the only sign that he had noticed was the flick of an ear and a languid twitch of his tail. He wouldn't allow himself to be snuck up on, but if this was just a passerby he wasn't going to tear himself away from his pasttime. It soon became clear that this other wolf was looking for an actual interaction. At this greeting, Aesop turned around, offering a hey in return.

A first, blind look at the other wolf turned up nothing, but as Aesop took in the stranger's face, he found that this was no stranger at all. Brows raised as his eyes flashed with recognition, Aesop searched the wolf's face. His glacial blue eyes, brilliant in a face of grey, caused Aesop's heart to skip a beat. Wait, no. Γεια σας, παλιός φίλος. He grinned, his smile hopeful.
